Paint my face red to pretend I've got passion
Dull eyes don't care, flip switches in their spare time
Remember the days when dull care was full-time
But the body needs more than withdrawn and misaligned
Directionless
Blind
Flighty
Accidental
Words to let loose a basket of marbles
But they block up my thoughts like in midday traffic
I'm barely crawling on, sun beating on my hand twitch
Twitch, that's it
Flick another marble
One by one till the basket wobbles
Unweighted by thoughts, my hand tips it over
Empty brain drips slowly and it doesn't get fuller
