Buried in reality, needing to distract

Distracted from the things that matter most

*

Informed only after of the consequences

*

Silently struggling but no one sees

*

Turning the head the other way, lost in distractions of their own.

*

Reality is all there is to life, boring and mundane

*

Acknowledging the past and making new mistakes

*

Continuing to move forward to no avail

*

Thinking that distracting myself enough will get me through life

*

Incredulous that no change happens, no matter how hard we try

*

Open to new suggestions, but the new ones are the same old

*

Nevertheless, I am tired and need to be distracted.
