Fact Vs Fake

Fact and Fakery

In this life, we live surrounded by facts and fakery,

Some of it we’ve followed for centuries unquestionably.

But if we stop and ask ourselves if it’s really real,

Would cause many to lose spirituality even their zeal.

From childhood, a life lived with unquestionable certainty,

Till middle age where it’s viewed with simple simplicity.

But in the back of our minds, a voice persists,

Is what you see real, and does what you believe really exist?

The final road that we all must walk leads to an end,

Will present to us the answer to the truth we defend.

There will be many surprised, seeing what was anticipated,

Discovering the resolution that no longer will be debated.

So, let’s celebrate the festivals of life,

Even those that cause much anger and strife.

For to argue unfounded illusions will always endure,

And cause mankind to languish without ever a cure.
