Put on that smile,

light up the room

what makes you think they really know you.

Why would they, have you ever let them in.

Have they seen who you are or where you’ve been.

You hide behind laughter, smile when you’re sad.

How can they know when you’re feeling bad.

When you’re drowning and screaming all they hear are jokes

you use humor and mirrors covered up with smoke.

The world moves on, no one knows how you feel,

you have always been fake, do you know what is real
