Faithful Forever Is Your Name

A Poem

By Jacob DavisPublished 9 years ago • 1 min read

Faithful Forever Is Your Name

Monsters came after me,

saliva on there fangs,

But your strong love reigns,

and crushed them to dust

Fear tried to sneak in,

but you ended him.

The sound of your Resurrection,

Put Mr. Death in his tomb

You will always come through

"Faithful Forever Is Your Name"

I will scream to hills,

“In my trouble he came!”

Faithful Forever is Your Name!

Now my enemies run and hide,

from you, they will not survive.

You are Love, Warrior of Joy,

And they cannot withstand your tide.

You will always come through

"Faithful Forever Is Your Name"

I will scream to hills,

“In my trouble he came!”

Faithful Forever is Your Name!

Now the rabbits come out,

And the squirrels run about,

To dance in your peace.

Rest,

Rest,

Rest.
