Fairy Ground

Dance, Dance.

Dance. Dance!

Dance round-

On fairy ground.

Sing. Sing!

Sing songs—

Of the coming spring.

Lock your heart

In a secret chest.

Lock your heart,

So you may do what’s best.

Wands.

Wings.

Hands.

Seams.

Dancing on fairy ground.

As the violin does play

The good people come to say

Come. Come!

Come with me.

Come see my fairy tree;

I’ll give you a fairy dream.

Wands.

Wings.

Hands.

Seams.

Dancing on fairy ground.

Now I will tell you a story

old as old can be—

Scraping

Screaming—

In my memory.

When the dawn came

Nothing could be seen;

I could hear her calling,

Calling to me.

The darkness consumed me

As I followed her voice—

I gave in to the option—

Yes,

To dance was my choice.

Now come

Come along

The party is right here

Come along

The king will soon appear.

Bow, darling, bow

For you’re dancing on fairy ground.
