She is cruel

She is kind

Really though

It’s more like

Your perception

Your antennae

Your reception

They’re bent

They’re pulled

They’re broken

Just a bug

In this world

She lets us know that

She makes sure of that

She is kind

She is cruel

She is beautiful

She is plain

She is green

And brown

And white

And yellow

She is angry

Yet she can be

Oh so mellow

All shades of blue

Hazy warms

Harsh colds

She can show us

She can hide us

She is plain

She is beautiful

She is everything

She is nothing

That whole notion

Of perception again

If a tree falls alone

Is it heard?

Do your satellite dishes

Retrieve

Achieve

Senseless sensory input?

Receive a degree

Made of blood sweat and tears

Hers of course, not even ours

For we are hers

She is nothing

She is everything
