Faded Childhood

Unseen change from innocence

By JPublished 2 years ago • 1 min read

Oh, to be that girl once more,

Unaware of the world’s dark lore.

Dreams filled with dolls and play,

Not knowing she’d be one someday.

Now, life’s charm has faded thin,

Turned into a doll by the world’s spin.

No longer does she yearn or strive,

In a life that stole her drive.
