Eyes on YOU

Bulging blinking eyeballs stare into your soul

Bouncing off nonexistent walls

But there’s no one else around?

Because it’s only YOU.

Squish and squelch

Squeezing together

Staring

Staring at YOU

Wet and watering

Weary and wide-eyed

What do they want? They’re

Wanting YOU

Pondering your future

Pucker and point and

Protruding, panicking,

Popping out at YOU!

Black.

Silent.

Whites of their eyes.

Perhaps...

You?
