Eyes of the Beholder
What do they see?
Eyes of the beholder, what do they see?
Beauty and wonder, or monstrosity?
To some, a rose is a symbol of love,
But to others, its thorns are all they think of.
A painting admired by one may be despised by another,
Each person's perception unique, like no other.
What's pleasing to one may not appeal to the next,
We all have different tastes, that's what makes us complex.
The eyes of the beholder can create immense power,
To uplift or destroy, in just a single hour.
So when judging things, remember this fact:
It's all subjective, everyone has their own impact.
Embrace diversity, accept the variety of views,
For it's through differences, that we learn something new.
Eyes of the beholder, let them roam free,
And celebrate the wondrous ways we all uniquely see.
