Eyes of Blue V.2

Fading

Eyes full of blue

Pigments of glory

Peace at mind, as

the sea meets the sky

A future beyond infinity

Full of serenity

Perhaps I wish to stay

But I age away.

Eyes full of grey

Dull and complex

So close to the edge, as

routine fills my mind

The only sadness I find

Loneliness so cold

Perhaps less bold

As I grow old.

Eyes of life trade

Colour fades

Becoming plain

Blue may come again, as

air full from misery

Hope for vitality

Is this my station?

Wishing to see the creation

Perhaps my damnation

Another way on a brighter day.
