Eyes Half-Closed, Flame Half-Lit: A Riverside Morning Blues

I woke up today intending to write a "purge story" something to drive the Shadow Man spirits out of the corners. But the system was not ready for the dark, so I ditched the ghosts and looked at the sunshine instead.

What followed was "Sunlight on the Perch," a slow-river groove born from a splash of cream, a quiet house, and the Rolling Stones humming on a ceramic stage.

This is a Trusselli Art Film, created in the "blue hour" of a Riverside morning. It features:

• Music: A deep, baritone blues mix (3:08 edit) featuring my own voice clone.

• Executive Feathered Producer: Sweetie Bird, whose whistles you’ll hear closing out the track.

• The Vibe: Not rushed. Not tight. Just a half-lit flame finding its way.

Thanks to the creative circle: Copilot, Gemini, LTX, and 11ElevenLabs for helping me capture the light.

"Eyes Half-Closed, Flame Half-Lit: A Riverside Morning Blues"

Sunlight on the Perch (Blues)

(Verse 1)

The Riverside sun is climbing through the glass

Watching the shadows of the morning pass

Got a splash of cream in a ceramic cup

Waiting for the spirit just to wake on up

(The "Rocking" Bridge)

The mug that rocked awake,

Rolling Stones humming on a ceramic stage

First sip breaking the silence,

Eyes half-closed, flame half-lit

(Chorus)

Oh, I am drifting slowly, letting the river run wide

Keeping all the heavy things locked deep inside

Do not need a schedule, do not need a plan

Just a little bit of peace in the palm of my hand

(Verse 2)

Sweetie’s on the perch, she is wide awake and bright

Whistling a melody to start the day right

The house is quiet, the air is still getting

If the world wants to hurry, I do not think I will

The Closing Verse

The shadows are whispering, but I am closing the door

I have got nothing to prove to that dark anymore

Just a bird and a melody, and a sky turning blue

The song’s finding me... instead of me chasing you.
