EXPOSED

FAITHE HALTTE

Come in

I turned the lights on

Came out the dark

To let myself be seen

Come in

If the world’s going to use me

Then let it be streamed

Come in

The pain you caused was true

Do you like it exposed?

Tell me,

Do you regret it now since the world can see?

All of this time in my own head space

I’ve learned to let things go

And let myself be exposed

Make eye contact, see my grace

All of the pain you owe

All of my love you disposed

If you thought this was a race

You’re delusional, your turn to ache.
