Exploring the Outskirts of Wealth
What is wealth to you? An asset, future, or universe?
Penny by a penny, dripping into the mind
Making the brain sunbathe with lavishness
The thought of sympathy and empathy washing away
Into a desert, far eastern ocean, and no way of coming back
Dear, wealth is not a grave thing
But what wealth makes you become is
We get fired out from our fate’s luck
Like an apricot in summer whilst cotton in winter
How much should you earn? People say
You shouldn't even earn a penny, some say
If it's making you go deeper into chasing wealth
Then there's nothing better than going for mental health
The ship of life seems to be broken; no shipwreck yet
The lodges carrying goods of wealth
Where will it go? Probably to the outskirts of the river
A sign of liquid money reunited with the earth’s river
Know when the world’s calling you for redemption
Telling you it’s time to stop the money greed
If not, nature has its way of punishing you
And nature doesn't hesitate.
Final Thoughts
What do you call wealth? An asset, future, or universe? I call it money alone. Wealth is supposed to help you in your hard times and not make your good times hard.
It's noteworthy to know that people would treat money like money and not Universe. I’ve seen countless examples of people forgetting their loved ones because of money. Okay, you can surely do that. But remember that you don't get second chances in your life. Never let wealth ruin your happiness.
Precaution now is better than regretting afterward!
