Experiencing the Last Nightfall of Life

My Last Nightfall

By OverThinkerPublished 3 years ago • 1 min read

As the night ended, the stars told tales of a life well lived.

Memories sang a goodbye song as the curtain of darkness fell, and they danced in the moonlight.

In that moment of quiet giving up on what couldn't be changed, a soul agreed to sleep for all time.

There was a sigh of peace as the last breath was taken, which showed that death was not the end but a change.

Another goodbye melody, this time in the colors of the sun going down.

The last day was a beauty because of the love and memory that were woven into the life.

But the spirit stayed in the hearts of everyone who saw it, even as darkness grew around the leaving.

The journey came to an end, and the stars went back to their cosmic dance. A change from night to morning.

Like the last line of a poetry, the final night of life mumbled its conclusion, an expressive farewell.
