One way love, posed love, logical love, love that seems right, but what I missed was unexplainable, unpredictable, confusing, wild, and passionate love
Love that filled my veins when he walked in a room, when he spoke my soul would sing and when he left I felt the silence
What a beautiful concept to have been loved then be lost
trial and tragedy
reaping the rewards of vulnerability
finding half of your soul to then release it back to the world
to be naive enough to believe I had forever with someone who promised me a lifetime
I have a heavy heart and an aching soul but somewhere I will heal

Mine
I want my favorite songs back, quotes back, favorite books back, my time back, I want my heart back. I want to dye my hair and take hot showers to shed layers of skin that you have touched. I want the images of my naked body burned from your mind and I want my soul to be clean and my heart to feel pure. I want my innocence back, I want to rid these past few months of the black taint of love because I now know just how lethal it can be. I want to be free of these invisible chains that hang around my feet and my heart, I want to take back the careless control you have over my mind. I want to run far away and repair the cracks in my heart. I want to sweep up the pieces that I have to call myself and start over. I want all of my things back and if I had the chance I would never open my heart again because this pain is unavoidable and all consuming and I'm losing myself. I want my pride back and I swear I'll never let myself be vulnerable again. I want my things to be mine again.

About Writing
Most people talk about things that bother them as a way to vent their emotions, another way is through writing. As I sit writing in my car, I ponder how much writing, in itself, has helped me become the person I am today. I have endless amounts of pages filled with poems, stories, and sometimes random blurbs. Writing is a window into your soul. The simple action of writing has benefited me; by helping me to achieve a better memory, helping me to learn and grow intellectually, and helping me to communicate my emotions.
