Exercising the Right

You Don’t Have to Listen or Follow

Standing in the field

A wheel turns.

Dazzling, sparkling, luring—

An array of

Tempting treats

Swirling streams

Arm-twists and limb-pulls

Melodies which mesmerize

And sights that seduce.

Come hither, come hither

Choose me.

But, you,

You drop in, go deep, lean into

The ocean of possibilities,

Echoing Charlie Dalton

Being sovereign

Being free.
