Everyday

Floating drifting astray,

My life feels like it is 10 feet away

I know I have the potential,

To make my life eventful

One part of me shines while the other stays behind

Destiny decides for what fate will unfold

Good and Bad battle within me

Practice what I plead

Hope to never lose control

As I let this gift of life unfold

And for this gift I am grateful and will never take for granted

For it is the most intriguing gift that

any of us can ask for

Be humble be true

I remind myself

Believing I can overcome this battle

I lace up and hop on the saddle

No one can fight this but me myself and I

If life is to be my way

I will fight everyday
