Every. Single. Day.
The rarity of the common day
A thing of beauty, rare and pure,
A treasure hard to find,
A jewel in the rough, obscure,
A gift for all mankind.
A rose among the thorns, a pearl,
A star in darkest night,
A light to guide us through the swirl
Of life's tumultuous fight.
A gentle breeze in desert heat,
A drop of rain in drought,
A source of hope and strength complete,
A thing we all devout.
So let us cherish every day
This rare and wondrous prize,
And let its light forever stay,
In our hearts and in our eyes.
