Ever feel like not living?

3 a.m. thoughts

By mitty anegoPublished about a year ago • 1 min read

Guess it’s 3 in the morning,

I feel alone, like no one cares.

Tears fall, my pillow’s wet,

But no one hears my prayers.

I think, I feel, I break apart,

Words can hurt and stab the heart.

Mom, Dad—you said you knew me,

Then why can’t you feel what I see?

My siblings, my friends—they don’t ask,

No one sees behind my mask.

“Are you okay?” was never said,

So I cry alone in bed.

I guess they have their own world too,

Just like I have mine.

My pillow, my bed, and my old doll—

They’re the only ones who see me cry.
