“Maybe we should take a break.”“No,” she insisted, pointing to the data on the screen. “Look! Every parameter matches the previous cycle. It’s as if time resets.”

He frowned, peering at the numbers. “Could it be a calibration issue?” “Possibly, but …” She hesitated, her mind racing. “It feels deeper than that. I have to dig further.” Days stretched into a blur as Elena and David became obsessed with the anomaly.

Each cycle felt like a déjà vu, their conversations repeating like an eerie melody. They began to document everything meticulously, trying to piece together the jigsaw of their existence.
