She shrugged it off as a malfunction, a simple glitch in the system. But as days turned into weeks, she became aware of a pattern—one she couldn't ignore. “Hey, are you with us?” A voice cut through her reverie.

It was David, the station’s engineer, his brows furrowed as he floated by, clutching a data pad. “You’ve been staring at that screen for hours.” “Yeah, just—strange readings,” she replied, her voice tinged with a hint of frustration.

“The same experiments yield the same results every day. It’s like we’re caught in a loop.”David snorted. “You’re losing it, Elena. You’ve been isolated for too long.”
