In olden days, eclipses were seen as the worst kind of happening. However, with scientific advancements, we now understand them to be normal natural phenomena.

I always think how frightening the first couple of eclipses must have seemed for humans. End of world fright must have been uppermost in their minds. We still feel awed, how must they have felt. Love this.
