In the quiet of the night, when the stars glimmer bright,
A story of the heart, I should weave in this light.
For the body may flounder, surrender to decay,
But the heart's profound torment will never away.
Oh, the ailment of tissue, a mortal's slight plight,
Bound to the soil, to the domain of twilight.
With the last breath, a discharge from the strife,
Yet the soul's turmoil waits past life.
For what utilize is wellbeing, if the heart is in chains?
If blame and lament fill the soul with profound pains?
The malady of the body closes with a sigh,
But the heart's overwhelming burden will never die.
Seek not fair to mend the vessel so frail,
But to cleanse the soul, let virtue prevail.
Mend the cracks in your soul, the wounds unseen,
For the genuine suffering lies in what has been.
Forgive those who harmed, let go of the past,
For hard feelings and despise will until the end of time last.
In this short lived life, let benevolence be your guide,
For peace in the heart is where genuine wellbeing resides.
In the echoes of endlessness, let your soul be free,
From the shackles of distress, let it really be.
For the infection of the body may conclusion with death,
But the heart's torment rises above the last breath.
So live with kindness, let cherish be your creed,
In this world of shadows, plant a confident seed.
Heal the heart's profound wounds, with each passing day,
And discover in your travel, the light that will stay.
Embrace the recuperating that comes from within,
For the heart's genuine illness lies in sin.
Let your soul take off, untethered and bright,
And discover in pardoning, interminable light.
The infection of the body will pass with time,
But the heart's immaculate bliss is a blessing, sublime.
So, rise with mettle, let your soul ignite,
And prevail the haziness with all your might.
