The oak did not rise in a day,
Nor the river carve its steady way.
Each root, each stone, each measured year,
Built the foundation we stand on here.
The walls were laid by patient hands,
Not scattered by the wind's demands.
Brick by brick, they rose and stood,
Firmly rooted in the wood.
The path was worn by countless feet,
A road both humble and complete.
No single traveler claimed the ground,
But many steps made it renowned.
So too the heart, the soul, the mind,
Must leave the chaos far behind.
Not born complete, but shaped and grown,
Through trials faced and victories known.
What lasts is not the sudden spark,
But embers glowing in the dark.
The flame that flickers, learns to stay,
And burns more brightly every day.
Establishment is not a single start,
But the quiet strength of a steady heart.
Built on time, on trust, on grace,
A lasting mark, a sacred space.
