Escape,
escape in the worlds crafted
scrolling endlessly
numb the mind
the ceaseless thoughts
dont leave me alone
with myself
distract me
find me a screen,
a book,
another world,
a new distraction
an endless cycle
of misplaced attention
if I keep moving
my brain will never wander
or dwell on the past
the goals unfinished
so again start the cycle
try to escape
produce the chemicals
to appease the mind,
plastic happiness,
a modern solution.
