Erasing Me Without a Sound

When you wished to erase me You did not scream, you did not shout You simply stopped giving me importance You did not stand by me in my pain You did not acknowledge my words You wrapped yourself in silence As if I had never existed at all… I did not break When the world argued with me, When people denied me… I truly shattered The moment I saw myself Disappear in the eyes I once called my own.
