If it was my last

Day on Earth,

I’d kick off my sneakers, skip

Through my front

Door carrying

nothing.

-

Closing my eyes I’d

Leap so high the

Wind would guide my

Steps in sync with the faint

Remembrance of piano keys.

-

My ribs filled with a

Tune, floating in full

Expansion, across

Cotton candy skies.

-

I’d orchestrate another

as if, it was my

First sip of air…

-

I’d smile so big,

Baby,

I’d start to sing.

-

Then miss a verse specifically.

-

Swinging free

From the beating drum,

You’d hear my hum

Randomly amongst

The bees.

-

Reveling in C Major’s tastes

Upon my tongue -

Nothing to harp on

When it’s done.
