I wish my poems sounded like hers
For when she reads my soul it stirs
It reaches out towards her light
Snatches and stows it out of sight
x
I want her clothes - not out of spite
But cause they'd look better on me
Besides, such luxury's my right
And I deserve it more than she
x
Who walks in shoes she has not earnt
And flaunts the wealth which I have not
So meeting me's a lesson learnt
Sleep for a sec, I'll take your spot
x
Her green eyes meet their mirror - mine
Her knowing smile's my sacred sign
An apple's in her outstretched hand
Between my fingers slips the sand
