Enticed

Adam and Eve

By Chacha JaramilloPublished 10 months ago 1 min read

For Adam and Eve

Just a taste of the forbidden

Could accept to get forgotten

Just a taste of this fruit

Happiness and power, yes Eve wanted it

Adam instead refused it

A bite that not even Eve

Ever experienced

To a price we all still pay

For many generations

And nations

For ever being regretted

Not even a man faced

Not even a woman expected

Not even a child ever accepted

Just in the Garden

Beautifully planted

This gorgeous tree

In the middle alone and untouched

This tree bewitched

Both innocent and naive

The snake brought both on astonishingly

Both succumbed and touched

New feelings

New doings

Discovered to just continued

And never to be discontinued

Just a bite

With no rite

What used to bright

Got reverted with no rite

A man has sinned

A woman just followed

And ended both accepting their

wrongdoing

Heaven broke loose

No one, no soul ever chose

Their destiny for ever

Their future lost in a moment

Gold and lush promised for ever

Who denies violence was never present

When just a little

Amount of envy

Turned two life’s into a crescent

Of torture

Of hatred thoughts

Of crazy moments

That could’ve not be forgotten

An apple

A bite

That changed the future of all

Shame on every man

Shame on every woman

A sin we all bring when born

We just accept as a form

fact or fiction
