English is for Broken

a doff of my hat to MF

By BrenPublished 3 years ago • Updated 3 years ago • 1 min read
A go to record for so long its not funny its not a moody it's Broken English

Marianne whispered to me

she suggested in no uncertain terms

how i should say it

and in what particular form

one sullen streaky winters day

i remained purely devoted

i was one of the Faithfull

and with my empty utterances

my English,

Broken

always Broken

for ever Broken

with a simple Witches Song

she Drained my Brain

and now i feel

Guilt

an i aint done

nothing wrong

i feel

yeah her guilt

and me mixed up

in her shenanigan's

Lucy Jordan's day

never improves

and here’s me wishing

her well for over

forty years

so What’s The Hurry

i'm not quite

a Working Class Hero

i never smiled

i never killed

and i don’t know why

why

Why’d Ya Dot it?
