There's a black hole inside me
It pulls in bright stars
And snuffs them out
It collapses in on itself
And explodes
Ruining me
And I'm empty inside
There's a prevalent loneliness
Pervading
Even when I'm not alone
But I'm never alone
This darkness is always with me
A black cloud hanging overhead
It won't go away
There's always a sense
Of nothingness
Sometimes vague
Sometimes poignant
A feeling of weightlessness
In a terrible way
It's not freeing
It's restraining
Smothering
Choking
Reminding me
That I am nothing
If I were to allow it free reign
To do as it will
I'm afraid I would become
So hollow and insubstantial
That I would simply
Cease to exist
About the Creator
A. R. Ambrosi
I like to write, if that makes me a writer, then rock on!
I started writing as a child because I ran out of stuff to read. So, I only write stuff that I like. If you like it too, awesome! Enjoy! ^_^
