Empty Chairs I am all alone
No one left to care if I live or die

Empty Chairs I am all alone
All alone, no one left who cares,
Just me, my thoughts, and empty chairs.
Shadows stretch where voices fade,
Echoes haunt the space they made.
Memories flicker, dim and cold,
Stories left that won’t be told.
Silence lingers, thick as stone,
Filling rooms I walk alone.
Children married, all homes of their own,
Laughter once shared now over the phone.
Husband died last year, my grief is so deep,
Nights drag on; I barely sleep.
Friends all gone, names etched on stone,
Only me, left here alone.
No hands to hold, no words to hear,
No one left to wipe my salty tears.
