Empty

The space between the test and the answer.

Lost, scared, alone.

Why am I here?

Tired of wondering what's next for me.

I can plan for the future but it's not mine to see.

Shadows moving,

Voices sent away.

I'm not meant to hear their manipulations,

Not yesterday or today.

Not my world to see,

Not their world to stay.

Was full of fear, now empty.

Was full of voices, not my own, now empty.

Was full of direction, not meant for me, now empty.

Empty, empty, empty.

Something is meant to be in that space.

I sit alone and find it.

I'll fill it with faith.
