Emptiness

Silence in the room,

Another emptiness.

There is neither a chair nor a table,

Neither a bed, nor a carpet.

Only a worn floor and doors

Without repair, only cracks.

Mice run everywhere,

And the cat is nowhere to be found.

Cobwebs in the corners,

Spiders on the ceilings.

I will roll up my sleeves,

I'll clean it all up in no time,

And I will paint, I will whitewash,

And I will renew the repair,

I will bring furniture into the house,

And I will get a cat.
