Emotions are more
Far more than just tears and outbursts
They are more than an angry face
They are more than a label
Where you are told that you are too sensitive
Or that you just have an attitude
Emotions are what make you
Well you
So honor that
How you feel
Look within
Why are you upset
Why are your eyes so heavy
Why is it that you feel like you just want to isolate from the world
Emotions are essential to your well being
You can't expect to be in a constant state of positivity
For every second of every day
That would be something else
They say that in order for the brightest stars to shine
Then they too visit the darkness from time to time
Not saying that it is good or bad
But how we learn
How we recover
That is the true magic
To go from pain and devastation
To something magnificent and beautiful
Full of breathtaking moments
Honestly without emotions
Life would be pretty dull if you ask me
So show your colors
Embrace every ounce of it
For the greatest art
Starts at the beginning of emotions
By a heart that's in love

So, you want to be a human or citizen don’t let the hurt they have caused define your worth, rise above. I will not let their words push me down before I am taking advantage of my love. Don’t let them make you unhappy and give away your affection. Life lessons taught me, seek respect not perfection. You think this is the world and you are just a product of their environment, and you cannot make it. It will be inevitable that God just allows you to enjoy the moment. Stop being always available to people who are just there for you when it’s convenient for them. et me be clear, my love is unconditional but your presence in my life is not. The moment you prove that the value of me does not measure up to yourself worth, I’ll have no problem unconditionally loving the memory of you and moving on. If they walk away, let them go. If they don't value you enough to work through the hard times, they don't deserve all the good times. And you gotta read between the lines I’m searching for a way to heal all the last rhymes.

The Reluctant Reporter
"You can't send me!" "There is no-one else. It's you or no-one, and that is not an option." Ameera looked at the fat paunch and florid face of her boss, a man who lived for the story and the kudos it brought him but who rarely gave consideration to the people behind the drama. When had he become so hard? She reckoned that by the end of the year, he'd be dead, collapsed from a heart attack and she struggled to conjure any sympathy in that moment and instantly felt ashamed at displaying the same lack of compassion that he had.
