Embers of Love

In the quiet of night, love fades away,

A dying ember in the break of day,

Once a fire that burned so bright,

Now just a memory in the fading light.

The warmth that held us close is gone,

Leaving us to carry on alone,

But in the ashes, a spark remains,

A silent witness to love’s sweet pains.
