Embers of Forgiveness

In the flames of fury, do not dwell,

Let forgiveness bloom, let anger quell.

Release the grip of vengeance, let it go,

For it's the heart's verdant green it mows.

The fire of revenge scorches deep,

Burning the ground where emotions sleep.

But halt, before envy's seeds you sow,

For your path, too, the divine shall show.

Those who covet, who pine and yearn,

May miss the lessons they're meant to learn.

Yet fear not, for the Lord's love is vast,

Embrace His grace, and peace shall amass.

In the realm where desires roam free,

Some gain all, some nothing see.

But fret not over what's gained or lost,

For the Lord's love comes at no cost.

Empty-handed, you shan't remain,

For His grace knows neither limit nor chain.

He gives abundantly to those who seek,

In His mercy, the weary find the peak.

So forgive, let go, and let love mend,

For in forgiveness, true peace does ascend.

In the embrace of grace,

find solace spun,

For in the Lord's love, all battles are won.
