Eli's Mushroom Guy

For Sara's Doodle and Dittie Challenge

Eli's drawing of a Mushroom man

Mushroom man, mushroom man, standing so tall,

With a great big yellow hat, the finest of all,

His spots are like sunshine that dots on his cap,

He smiles at you sweetly and gives a big clap!

Mushroom man, mushroom man, what do you wear?

A dome of bright yellow beyond all compare,

With stars in his dark eyes that twinkle and glow,

And big yellow arms put on quite a show!

Mushroom man, mushroom man, where do you stand?

On two little brown boots that cover the land,

He wobbles and waddles and stomps all around,

The jolliest fellow you'll find on the ground!

Mushroom man, mushroom man, what do you eat?

Raindrops and sunshine and things oh so sweet,

He grows in the forest where tall green trees sway,

And waits for young children to come out and play!

Mushroom man, mushroom man, give us a grin,

With that wonderful smile stretching ear to chin,

Eli drew you so perfectly, happy and bright,

Our favourite mushroom man, yellow and white!
