Elemental evergreen
hallowed in the hues
of Earth’s transcendent trees
enlivens me to be seen
within every seam of creation,
regardless of race or nation
my unique individuality
is a mere reflection
of nature’s temporal totality.
Misty morning hues
of serenely soothing blue
can only last for so long
before treacherous teal ensues.
Such stormy ocean serenades
mirror my own inner mermaid,
flowing with the fuchsia fanatics of chance,
She caresses every crashing wave
with compassion and continues to dance.
For the color of fire
ignites my higher desire,
a creative complexion
of intense red reflection,
and resilient ruby resurrection.
Such contrasting conditions
enlighten and inspire
Transforming dire yelps
into exuberant roars,
My pain empowers me
to soar once more.
Like a Phoenix rising,
Sapphire shining
in Spring galore
I am cyclically enlightened to explore
the wisdom washed ashore.
You see,
this is what sets me apart;
the alchemizing art of my heart.
For it may be bruised and beaten,
but it will never be defeated.
I will forever find a way to sweeten
any pastel sore
with purple majesty power,
like a magnificent wildflower
revealing her first sight,
I am infinitely able to transmute
the darkest of Winter night
into an ever~illuminating light.
