Elegy of a Shattered Soul

Whispers of Love, Echoes of Pain

In shadows cast by moonlit skies,

A tale unfolds, where love did die.

In words unspoken, hearts torn apart,

A symphony of sorrow, a shattered art.

Silent tears cascade, a river of despair,

Lost in the depths of love's solemn lair.

Once entwined, two souls danced as one,

Now echoes remain, a haunting undone.

With trembling hands and weary gaze,

I trace the fragments of those bygone days.

In memories' caress, I yearn to find,

The love we shared, a treasure left behind.

Yet whispers of love fade into the night,

As bitter winds howl, extinguishing their light.

Promises once held, now but broken dreams,

The ache in my chest, the pain, it seems.

A ghostly presence lingers, a spectral wail,

Through vacant halls, where love did once prevail.

In echoes of your laughter, I find no solace,

Only the ache of absence, an unbearable promise.

Oh, Elegy of a Shattered Soul,

A requiem sung, a story left untold.

In the depths of my heart, this pain remains,

A fragile vessel, shattered by love's disdain.

But through the fragments, hope whispers soft,

A mending hand to heal what's been lost.

For from heartbreak's embers, strength shall rise,

To paint a new dawn, where love never dies.

So, let this elegy be my farewell,

To a love once cherished, now caught in a spell.

May healing winds carry this pain away,

And lead my wounded heart to a brighter day.
