What remains

Sight of blood/ cry of pain

Another soldier lies wounded

But you’ll never know his name

Cause those with the power above,

Work for He, who lurks below

And only offer lies or the truths

They want you to know

So, you can go on thinking that this war

Isn’t really that bad

But go and say that to a family,

Who’s lost a son or dad.

I dare you to say that to

A soldier who’s lost his comrade

So you can see the truth/ hold it within your eyes

The effect this war is having on so many lives

The destruction of peace of mind.
