Did you ever say that something in school was boring?
We’ve been ignoring
The people enduring the fact
That their futures are inexact
THINK
Do we ever truly stop
To think about the children around the globe
Who long for the day
When there will be a way
To say
Graduation day
Are they not deserving of affirmation
For their right to education?
THINK
Education is the knot tying lives together
Yet 39% of children don’t have it
No matter how much they preach
We continue to reach
Towards what I consider nothing
THINK
Their ambitions, their missions get drowned in the thoughts that people won’t even listen
THINK
About...
Unemployment, hunger, homelessness, poverty, health problems, exploitation
All because of lacking education
THINK
About how the lack of education is the continuation of the poverty cycle
THINK
There’s something we can do
We can make donations
Start a new generation
THINK
And bring back their education....
