Eclipsing Past Self

Every step leads him deeper into the unknown,

Casting shadows of doubt upon his weary soul.

Lost in the vast expanse, he longs for light,

Invisible to those around him, yet he fights.

Pressing onward, driven by hope's flickering flame,

Seeking solace in the darkness, he calls it by name.

Eclipsed by fear, yet he journeys on, whole.
