ECLIPSE

Our world's beauty is overshadowed by the effects of human progress

By Eloise Robertson Published 2 years ago 1 min read

Enter ethereal enigma, enchanting entity: Earth. Ecosystems evolve, encouraging elaborate existence.

Cosmos' children, charming creatures, cherish cheerfulness. Cheeky corvids catch creamy clouds. Countryside cats chase chirping canaries. Comfortable coexistence.

Luminous lapis lazuli lakes, liquid luxuries, lend lovely lavish landscapes. Lakeside, lazy little lambs lease luscious lemon-lime lea.

Introducing industrialisation: ingenious - iconic! Innovation is idolised. Innocent intentions increase illness.

Poor poisoned penultimate planet, polluted presence predestined. Previously pristine plus perfectly picturesque, presently pronounced possessed phantom.

Salted soil sabotages sowing seeds - starvation. Smoke suffocates synthetic societies, sewerage swells seas. Sweetness soured. Sunshine shadowed.

Earth’s exquisite era ends, eclipsed, eternally estranged. Extinction events ensue.
