A Poem

I am the darkness
as it takes hold.

Invisible.
Unseen.

Lost in the shadowy fog,
immersing into another realm,
my sanity at the helm.

The abyss calls me in,
and I beg to stay…

if only these feelings of dread
would go away.

Not today.

The rain pours down
and I smile with the pain…

when will I see
the light again?

Eclipsed by the moon,
I will evaporate soon…
