A Timeless Rhythm Unveiled

In a smoky room where time unwinds,

Vintage vinyl spinning, old jazz finds,

A poet steps up to the mic's embrace,

Mixing past and present in this sacred space.

With words that flow like whiskey neat,

He conjures images of a bygone street,

Where fedora hats and trench coat style,

Mingle with the present for a little while.

He speaks of neon signs that brightly glow,

In the city's heart where stories grow,

Of lovers lost and dreams deferred,

In this vintage world where hearts are stirred.

But then his tempo shifts, his voice takes flight,

He slams his words with all his might,

A rhythmic burst of modern truth,

Awakening minds from the slumber of youth.

He speaks of now, the struggles faced,

In a world of chaos, never erased,

Of voices rising, fighting for change,

In this slam of words, the world's rearranged.

Vintage meets slam, a fusion profound,

Where history's echoes in the present resound,

In this poetic dance of past and now,

The poet takes a bow, and we wonder how.

In a smoky room where time does blend,

Vintage and slam, they both transcend,

The boundaries of style and age,

In this poetic stage, they turn the page.
