Echoes of the Playground

A heartfelt reflection on the childhood moments we can never return to.

The swings still move with a gentle breeze,

But no small feet now touch the trees.

The chalk-drawn roads have faded away,

Like laughter lost in yesterday.

Tiny hands once built paper skies,

With fearless hearts and shining eyes.

But time, it came like quiet rain,

And washed away that sweet domain.

Yet in my heart, I hear the song,

Of where the days were bright and long.

Though childhood’s gone, its light will stay,

A memory soft, that won’t decay.

Thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️
