🌙 Echoes of the Moon

A Poetic Reflection on Love, Loss, and the Passing of Time

"Echoes of the Moon: A Night of Silent Goodbyes"

A Poem on Time, Dreams, and Silent Goodbyes

The moon hums softly in the midnight sky,

A silver thread where memories lie.

It whispers tales of love once bright,

Now fading slow into the night.

The wind recalls your fleeting name,

A quiet song, a spark, a flame.

Your shadow lingers, faint but true,

Etched in time like morning dew.

I chase the echoes, pale and thin,

Through hollow streets, through nights grown dim.

The past is carved in fading light,

A silent prayer lost to flight.

Oh, moon, do you remember too?

The hands once held, the skies once blue?

Or do you watch as hearts let go,

Turning dreams to falling snow?

No voice, no touch, no words remain,

Just echoes drifting past the rain.

Yet in your glow, I dare believe,

That some goodbyes still softly breathe.
