In the shadows of memory's sway,
Where echoes of yesteryears play,
There lies a path, both winding and long,
Where hearts learn the art of letting go.
Like autumn leaves in gentle breeze,
Falling away from sturdy trees,
We release the grip of what once was,
Embracing the beauty in letting go's cause.
With tender grace, we bid farewell,
To dreams that no longer serve us well,
For in the letting go, we find our strength,
To embark on journeys of greater length.
Though tears may trace the paths we roam,
And echoes of longing find their home,
We step with courage, towards the dawn,
Where new beginnings await, reborn.
So let the past dissolve like morning dew,
As we embrace the promise anew,
For in the act of releasing what's gone,
We discover the freedom to carry on.
